Cover Reveal for Fairy Seasons

Cover Reveal for Fairy Seasons

Today we’re excited to reveal the cover for Fairy Seasons by Machelle Berglund, an anthology of terror and delight inspired by fairies and folklore.

Sound intriguing? Let’s learn more about Fairy Seasons:

Fairy, or fairy equivilent, are persistent figures in many-a mythos. They often toe-the-line between helpful and friendly to vindictive and vicious. Within all, there is a bit of mischief. The question is rather they use that mischief, and their innate magic, for good or ill-will.

In Fairy Seasons, one may meet an unexpected friend in the forest, join the hunt for a magic-gobbling witch, drink some fiery brews, and join in on a midsummer eve’s joyous dance.

Of course, that’s if you’re lucky.

You never know when you’ll meet a fierce creature bent on revenge, or a fairy looking for some not so harmless fun. Becareful what part of the woods you wander in, for it could be the last time you ever wander again.

Fairy Seasons is an anthology filled with poetry and prose, all carefully woven to create half delight and half utter fear. Inspired heavily by various imaginings of the seelie and unseelie courts, Good Fairies, Bad Fairies by Brian Froud, and so many more tales of magic, folklore, and tales.

About the Author

I’m many things, and describe myself as such: a spooky pickle, several ferrets and opossums in a trench coat; dressed in clown gear, a lover of many-a art, and above all – a weirdo.

I think I filled all those shoes quite well. The clown shoes especially. I have pretty big feet.

I’ve previously published three poetry collections. There are several more things on the way. And not all just poetry.

I hope to write more stories for everyone to enjoy!
