The next annual Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off is due to start soon after recently crowning their 2020 winner.
For those of you who have no idea what the Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off is, it is a year-long competition hosted by fantasy author Mark Lawrence created to highlight and celebrate the very best self-published fantasy. A whooping three hundred books take part each year and are reviewed and judged by a select group of fantasy bloggers whoโll rank these books until the finalists are pitted together to declare the ultimate winner. As you can imagine, it is a massive event which really takes an entire year to declare a winner.
If youโre a self-published fantasy author, then you donโt want to miss this! To find out more and read the application rules, visit Mark Lawrenceโs official blog.
The competition will open up tomorrow at 6pm GMT on Friday 14th. Entries fill up fast and operate on a first come, first serve basis, so get preparing your entries now! Just make sure you get the right time zone and donโt accidentally miss out.
Sadly, the Uncharted Library wonโt be taking part, but we LOVE the SPFBO for introducing us to new indie fantasy authors, so for us, weโll be watching the competition and entrants closely indeed! Weโre always on the lookout for awesome new indie fantasy to read and review.
Good luck to all entrants!
