It is a bloody journey where two samurais with a devastating past, a Viking, a geisha and a group of survivors try surviving in a zombie apocalypse. They will cross Feudal Japan, leaving Fukushima to Niigata in search of one last hope, facing betrayals, deadly traps, great battles, many losses and hundreds of zombies. No one is safe on this journey, where zombies are not always the worst threat.

Samurais of Fukushima was published on 6th November 2020 at 268 pages.

About the Author

Hugo L. I. Cukurs is a Brazilian advertiser living in Canada with his wife and daughter. Passionate about movies, books, comics and podcasts, he decided it was time to create his own story after listening to a podcast with comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis. Cukurs joined his passion for fantastic stories with martial arts, one of his other favourite interests, to write Samurais of Fukushima. His time spent daily in the safe, quiet Toronto subway offered the perfect conditions to develop every detail of the story.
